This time we are “crossing the ditch” to the Land of the Long White Cloud and retreating to the stunning Coromandel Peninsula in the North Island of New Zealand (just 2 hours North of Auckland). Join Ondine Savage for a blissful 5-day Yoga Retreat to mark the start of Spring.
By taking some well deserved time just for you and delving a little deeper in to your yoga practice in an idyllic setting, Yoga Retreats can offer you the opportunity to realign your goals, set healthier intentions, rest, relax, rejuvenate. If stress, anxiety, physical aches and pains, exhaustion or emotional upheaval are overtaking your life, then this is exactly what you need. How you’ll feel at the end of the retreat will transform your outlook on life.
There will be so much on offer including morning Yoga sessions, Workshops, Meditation, Yoga Nidra and “ME” time to explore and discover the wild surrounds. There will be gorgeous vegetarian fare, optional massages, native bush and local beach walks.

Nestled amongst stunning native bushland and run entirely by solar power, Te Moata Retreat Centre comprises of several buildings set around an attractive courtyard. The purpose built-Yoga & Meditation hall will offer us our sacred space for learning, practicing and connecting with ourselves and others during our time together and an unparalleled experience of simplicity.
A number of walking trails allow access to streams, waterfalls, and beautiful native trees. Special meditation and sacred sites at Te Moata include the Lavender, Rimu & Green Tara Circles and the Labyrinth.
The sacred sites at Te Moata have been lovingly created by volunteers over many years and offer contemplative spaces to deepen our connection with ourselves and with nature.
This retreat will provide you with the perfect opportunity to simplify your lifestyle and concentrate on what really matters; your mental and physical health and well-being. We will be peeling away all the unnecessary layers and letting go of what no longer serves us and this stunning nature setting will support and nurture you as we do so. So let’s unplug, turn in and away from distraction, relax and find silence inside and out on this 5-day blissful yoga experience.
The accommodation on offer at Te Moata is simple and informal, and given this retreat has its emphasis on stripping away all that we no longer need, the simplicity of the sleeping arrangements fit in perfectly with the philosophy of this retreat.
There will be three different accommodation styles on offer:

There are two cabins available:
Phoenix Hut: (2 bedrooms- 4 people)
Earth Hut: (1 bedroom- 2 people)- BOOKED
This wonderful space will provide you with the opportunity to immerse yourself into the practice, release tension, stress and anxiety from your body and mind so you can return home steeped in a sense of peace, centred and relaxed after having travelled deeper into your Self. Take this time to discover more about yourself and share a retreat adventure with other like-minded yogis from the Hatha Yoga Sydney community. There will be many adventures to be had…

Arrival Day- Friday 17 November
Shuttle bus pick up for all guests from Auckland at approximately 1pm (exact time to be confirmed).
5.30-7pm: Welcome and first yoga class
Saturday 18 November to Tuesday 21 November
7.00-8.30am: Morning yoga – an invigorating yoga class to stretch, strengthen and cleanse.
11.30-12.45pm: Workshop or free time
1pm-5.30pm: Free time
5.30-6.45pm: A more relaxing yoga class (Restorative Yoga, Nidra Yoga, Meditation class)
8.30: Movie or free evening
Departure Day- Wednesday 22 November
7.00-8.15am: Final yoga class
8.30am: Breakfast, then prepare for departure
Shuttle bus departure to Auckland at approximately 10am
